The membership committee has arranged two off-site excursions in the Huntington Beach area for the Thursday afternoon free period during the annual workshop.

Excursions occur simultaneously you can sign up for one event at the time of workshop registration. Payment is required for the reservation. Participants will be responsible for their transportation to/from each event. Each excursion is within a 20-minute drive from the hotel, and we recommend using rideshares (Lyft/Uber) or taxis as parking availability at each site is limited.

Newport Coastal Adventures Marine Animal Boat Tour

Join Newport Coastal Adventures on a two-hour boat tour off the coast of Newport Beach where you have a chance to view whales, sea lions, dolphins, sea birds, and other marine wildlife! Newport Beach Vineyard Tour and Tasting

Spend the afternoon at the Newport Beach Vineyard where you will tour the beautiful 3.5-acre vineyard and enjoy four wine tastings! Newport Beach Vineyard is considered one of the “best-kept secret” destinations in Orange County, CA. They were founded in 1998 and specialize in award winning cuvées, containing Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec, as well as whites and rosés.
