Cancellation policy: All requests must be received in writing to APV, 9190 Crestwyn Hills Dr., Memphis, TN 38125 or info@primatevets.org no later than 14 days in advance of the opening day of the Workshop. Refunds (less the $75 processing fee) will be issued within 45 business days of receipt of cancellation notice. No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made less than 14 days before the opening day of the workshop. There is a return check fee of $25. To change the method of payment, another $25 fee will be applied. The APV President and President-Elect retain the right to review and approve, on a case-by-case basis, requests for reimbursement outside this policy.

Travel Grant Submission

APV offers three types of travel grants: post-doc/resident, student, and for a member of the European Primate Veterinarians. Each type of grant has different submission criteria. See below for instructions and the scoring rubrics. The submission deadline is Saturday, July 1, 2024.

Case Report Submission

APV invites submission of posters and clinical cases for presentation in either the case report or “What’s Your Diagnosis” format. These presentations of cases and clinical experiences are the backbone of the APV Workshop. We are looking for interesting and relevant clinical cases, research applications, new models, behavioral management strategies, and nonhuman primate psychological enrichment or welfare information. Submissions for the 2024 Workshop are now open.

Continuing Education Units

This course will be submitted for continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Contact info@aavsb.org if you have questions. APV will be providing a certificate of attendance to each registrant.
