APV meeting attendees must make their own reservations at Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel. Our group rate of $199 (plus 15.5% tax) for single or double will be available until we sell-out our block or October 1, 2018, whichever comes first. To make reservations for shuttle transportation from/to the airport/hotel, you will need to contact SuperShuttle Share a Ride. he cost is approximately $14.00 per person, one way. It is recommended you make your reservations on-line; phone reservations (410-859-3427). You are required by the shuttle service to provide 24 hours’ notice for reservation pick-up at the airport. Super Shuttle provides service to/from airport/hotel and around Baltimore area.

Continuing Education Units

This course will be submitted for continuing education credit in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB’s RACE approval; however, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Contact info@aavsb.org if you have questions. APV will be providing a certificate of attendance to each registrant.

Travel Grant Submission Open

The Association of Primate Veterinarians (APV) recognizes the importance of post‐DVM/VMD training programs to promote nonhuman primate care and wellbeing. Each year the APV Education Committee awards three trainee Travel Grant Awards to residents or graduate students as a way to defer the cost of travel to the annual workshop. The Travel Grant Award trainees will introduce themselves to their APV colleagues by presenting an oral case report, clinical investigation, or research project at the annual workshop.
