Case Report and Travel Grant Submission
Please complete the following information to submit a regular case report or application to be considered for a travel grant for the APV Workshop. Travel grant submitters must also provide additional information, noted below. Selected abstracts will be published in JAALAS.
Travel grant applicants must have a DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree from a veterinary medical college, must be enrolled in a formal residency or postgraduate training program, and must have some direct experience in the clinical care or medical management of nonhuman primates. The applicant must include a letter of recommendation from their mentor or training advisor describing the candidate’s residency/graduate program and their involvement in nonhuman primate medicine, care and/or research. If the mentor or advisor is not a member of APV, the applicant must also submit a letter of recommendation from a current member of APV. Applicants must also submit a paragraph (< 400 words) describing the applicants interest in nonhuman primate medicine, care or research. Travel grant recipients are expected to give an oral presentation.
